Event Recap: The World is in a Portal Exhibition – A Beautiful Gathering of Art, Community, and Connection
The opening of The World is in a Portal at the Spring Valley Gallery, part of The Library District Las Vegas–Clark County, was a deeply moving and joy-filled experience. Hosted with the support and guidance of Gallery Services Coordinator Darren Johnson and his incredible team, the exhibition marked a significant moment in my creative journey — and it was made even more meaningful by the presence of so many beloved guests, family, friends, and members of the Las Vegas art community.
The reception was a beautiful celebration of transformation, reflection, and the unseen energy that flows through life and creation. Each piece in the collection was designed to act as a portal — a visual meditation on the world’s ongoing shift and the spirit within us all that moves through these changes.
